THERE WAS A ROCK STUCK IN THE FEEDER DOORWAY WHICK BLOCKED PIT RUN FROM COMING DOWN. I PRIED ON THE ROCK WITHA BAR WHICH WE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE, AND GOT SHARP PAIN IN LOWER BACK, WHICH THEN BECAME NUMB DOWN ENTIRE LEFT LEG. EMPLOYEE MISSED 6 1/2 HOURS WORK ON 6-29-90.
INJURED WENT A DIFFERENT ROAD TO GET PIT RUN FOR FEEDER BECAUSE OTHER ROAD WAS BLOCKED BY TRUCKS BING LOADED BY OTHER LOADER OPERATOR.A DRAINAGE DITCH HAD BEEN DUG ACROSS IT SINCE LAST TIME HE HAD USED IT.TO AVOID THE DITCH WITH THE LOADER,HE HIT A LARGE BUMP.WHICH HAD BEEN FORMED BY MATERIAL THAT CAME FROM THE DITCH.
