EE WAS USING A AIR ARC WELDER TO CUT A PIECE OF METAL WHILE MAKING REPAIRS TO A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. AS HE WAS CUTTING HE EVENDENTLY ENCOUNTERED SOME RUST BUILD UP THE SLAG POPED AND STRUCK EE IN THE RIGHT EYE. THE EE WAS WEARING A HOOD TYPEEYE PROTECTION.
DISMOUNTING DOZER AT END OF SHIFT. DUE TO RAIN DECK AT DOOR WAS SLICK CAUSING HIM TO FALL. AS HE FELL HE CAUGHT HIMSELF WITH HIS RIGHT HAND AN ARM, CAUSING INJURY TO RIGHT SHOULDER. EE WORKED NEXT SHIFT BUT DUE TO PAIN WENT TO DOCTOR AND WAS ADVISED HE HAD TORN LIGAMENT. FIRST DAY OFF 3-19-97.
WHILE USING A LARGE TORQUE WRENCH TORQUE ROD NUTS ON A 777 CAT ENGINE, EE FELT A BURNING SENSATION IN HIS LOWER ABDOMEN, POSSIBLE HERNIA
