2 EE'S WERE WORKING TO FREE CONVEYOR BELT. THE VICTIM WAS ROLLING THE BELT BACKWARDS BY HAND USING THE BELT DRIVE MANUALLY. THE 2ND PERSON WAS STANDING NEXT TO HIM AND TURNED ON THE BELT. HIS FINGERS WERE PINCHED AND CUT AND 1 BROKEN. THE DR RESTRICTED HIM TO MODIFIED DUTY FOR 4 WEEKS AND REFERRED HIM TO ANOTHER DR TO GET HIS FINGERTREATED

COMMENT - WE DO NOT BELIEVE FOR ONE SECOND THAT THIS IS WORK RELATED. HE LEFT FOR LUNCH AND CAMEBACK FROM THE EMERG ROOM. TOLD NOONE ANYTHING BEFORE LEAVING. DR REPORTED SORE WRIST FROM TENDON ITIS. CONDITION HE ALREADY HAD. WAS TOLD LIMITEDUSE FOR 7 DAYS. OFFERED HIM LIGHT DUTY. HE WENT HOME INSTEAD.
