EMPLOYEE WAS SAWING TIMBERS TO SET INPLACE THE TIMBER HE WAS HOLDING ROLLED OVER CAUSING HIS LEFT HAND TO BE PLACED UNDER SAW BLADE AS HE DREW SAW BACK HIS LEFT THUMB WAS CAUGHT BETWEEN TIMNBE TIMBER AND THE SAW BLADE HE RECEIVED A SMALL LACERATION ON THE THUMB
EMPLOYEE WAS SCALING LOOSE COAL FROM UPPER PART OF RIB WITH PICKING HAMMER. SOME SMALL COAL CHUNKS POPPED LOOSE FROM RIB STRIKING EMPLOYEE IN LEFT EYE. THE EYEBALL WAS CUT CAUSING MINOR INFECT ION.
