WHILE WALKING AROUND PLANT FOR START UP EE NOTICED AN IRRITATION IN HIS RIGHT EYE. EE WAS WEARING SAFETY GLASSES. CONDITIONS WERE VERY WINDY EE TRIED RUBBING IT THROUGHOUT THE MORNING BUT IRRI TATION WOULD NOT GO AWAY. NOTIFIED SUPERVISOR AT12:00PM. SAW FOREIGN BODY IN RIGHT EYE WHICH COULD NOT BE REMOVED BY FLUSHING. NO VIOLATIONS OF SAFETY RULES OR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT RULES.

WHILE CHANGING A ROLLER ON G-7 CONVEYOR. THE PRESSURE OF THE BELT KNOCKED THE ROLLER ON ITS SIDE PINCHING HIS HAND BETWEEN THE ROLLER AND MAIN FRAME. POWER TO C-7 CONVEYOR WAS LOCKED OUT AND THE CONVEYOR IS EQUIPPED WITH A BACK LOCK.
