THE EMPLOYEE ALLEGES HE WAS HELPING TO INSTALL AN EMPTY SPOOL ON THE DRIVE SHAFT OF THE BELT WINDING MACHINE. THE SPOOL SLIPPED DOWN, CATCHING THE TIP OF MY LEFT THUMB BETWEEN THE FLANGES OF T HE SPOOL AND THE SHAFT, CUTTING OFF THE TIP OF MY THUMB.
