LOADING TRUCKS, DURING LAG TIME HAULING ROAD BASE FROM UNDER CONVEYOR BELT TO ROADBASE STOCKPILE 75 FEET AWAY. BUCKET WAS FULL AND HALFWAY IN THE AIR. GAVE LOADER GAS TO DUMP, RIGHT TIRE WENT UP EMBANKMENT. ROLLED MACHINE ON IT'S LEFT SIDE.

WHILE USING LOADER BUCKET AS A STEP STOOL TO REACH A RETURN ROLLER THE MECHANIC WAS PINNED BETWEEN THE CONVEYOR BELT AND LOADER BUCKET. THE OEPRATOR OF THE LOADER ACCIDENTALLY RELEASED THE PAR K BRAKE WHEN GETTING OUT OF THE LOADER TO ASSIST THE REPAIR. THE LOADER BUCKET WAS APPROX. 4' OFF THE GROUND.

GOING UPHILL NORTH TO STOCKPILE AREA, HE MADE A SLOW TURN TO THE WEST, ROCK SHIFTED AND ROLLED M ACHINE OVER THE THE SOUTH, LANDING ON ITS WHEELS. THERE WERE NO WITNESSES. EMPLOYEE HAD HIS SEST BELT ON AND WAS NOT INJURED.
