OPERATOR WAS SMOOTHING OUT SHALE HAUL DUMPSITE. THERE WAS A DIP AT TONE END OF THE PILE. OPERATOR HIT THIS DIP WHILE HE WAS CHECKING MACHINE OPERATION BEHIND HIM, CAUSING HIM TO BOUNCE IN HIS SEAT. DID NOT REPORT TO SUPERVISOR UNTIL 9/28/92 AND WAS NOT SURE WHAT CAUSED IT.
