THE EE WAS WORKING NEAR THE CRUSHER FEED CONVEYOR. HE WAS DISCOVERED ON THE GROUND, BUT DID NOT LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS. IT IS BELIEVED A ROCK MAY HAVE HIT HIS HEAD. THE MINER WAS WEARING A HARD HA T AND HEARING PROTECTION AT THE TIME. HE WAS TREATED AT THE HOSPITAL AND RELEASED.
INJURED WAS IN THE PROCESS OF SECURING A FRONT END LOADER ON A L-BOY TRAILER.HE BENT OVER TO PICK UP A CHAIN BINDER AND DISLOCATED HIS LEFT HIP.HE HAD RECONSTRUCTIVE HIP SURGERY APPROX FOUR YE ARS AGO.THE PROTHESIS LIMITS HIS MOTOR FUNCTION ABILITIES.WHEN HE BENT OVER TO PICK UP THE CHAIN BINDER,HIS LEFT LEG WAS FORWARD WHICH SHIFTED HIS BODY WEIGHT ONTO HIS LEFT SIDE RESULTING IN
