EMPLOYEE WAS PLACING LUBRICANT ON OPEN GEAR FROM GREASE TUBE WHEN THE CUFF OF HIS GLOVE CAUGHT ON ONE OF THE GEARS. THIS FORCED HIS HAND AGAINST THE SECOND GEAR. DAMAGE TO THE BACK OF LEFT HAN D. EXTENT OF BONE AND TENDON DAMAGE UNDETERMINED AT THIS TIME.
