Holcim - MAR, Inc. · Struck by falling object

EE was using a 3lb hammer to connect equipment. Set hammer on conveyor belt and place hand on structure. Hammer fell, striking the left thumb of EE.

Victim was riding with another EE to the pit. When they exited the plant truck, the victim fell to the ground almost immediately. The driver called out, thinking that EE had tripped. Upon walking around to the back of the truck, the driver noted that the victim was on the ground, not breathing and had no pulse.
