The miner was shoveling the floor on a vibrating hopper when he stooped under a steel support beam. When he went to stand up he hit the back of his head below the hard hat line where his neck connects to his head. He suffered a minor concussion. The hospital admitted him overnight for observation. He returned to work on 2/9/2015.

Runts Trucking Inc. · Struck by falling object

The loader operator was walking over to the screen to shut it down and a rock, approximately 12 inches by 4 inches, from the grizzly bars on the feed hopper slid off grazing the operator's hardhat and striking him in the right foot. According to the MD the operator has fractures of tarsal and metatarsal bones.
