CONTRIBUTING FACTORS TO THIS INCIDENT WERE SOLELY DUE TO THE HORIZONTAL EXHAUST ON THE OFF-ROAD VEHICLE. THE OFF-ROAD TRUCK APPARENTLY BACKFIRED AND IGNITED A HILLSIDE OF DRY SAGEBRUSH. SINCE THE INCIDENT THE EXHAUST HAS BEEN REDIRECTED TO ESCAPE VERTICALLY UPWARD VS. HORIZONTALLY.
