A Maintenance employee was in preparation of repairing the vertical support for the handrail. While grinding with a hand held wheel grinder, the employee while wearing safely glasses got some material in their eye. They reported that they got something in their eye and needed to see a doctor. The employee was directed to go to the emergency room and seek medical help.
