EE was welding a section of pipe & removed his welding hood & safety glasses to inspect his work as he says they were fogged up. Some welding slag had dripped onto the concrete below the weld & the cement heated & popped. Some debris flew into his eye. He was treated onsite w/eyewash & sent to local treatment center the next day. Dr's report stated superficial burn & abrasion
