A STEEL PLATE WAS BEING LOADED ONTO A 966 CAT LOADER WHEN THE RIGHT RING FINGER WAS MASHED AND CUT BETWEEN THE STEEL PLATE AND A WOODEN BLOCK. EIGHT STITCHES WERE REQUIRED.

THIS REPORT IS LATE BECAUSE EE DID NOT KNOW THE FINGER WAS FRACTURED. EE OPENED THE PULVERIZER DOOR AND IT TRAPPED THE FINGER BETWEEN THE DOOR AND TABLE. THE DR GAVE HIM A TETNUS SHOT, XRAY, A ND A SPLINT WAS PUT ON HIS FINGER.
