ELEVATIONS IN THE MINE. APPROX.12 FT REMINAINED BEFORE BREAKSTHROUGH HANGING WALL WAS BEING ROCK BOLTED. VISIBLE GOLD HAD BEEN OBSERVED. EXAMINING THE ORE FACE AT WHICH TIME THE SLAB FELL ON T HEM THE ORE IS RELATIVELY SOFT AND SHATTERED ON IMPACT A PIECE OF SHATTERED SLAB STRUCK EE IN THE HAND CAUSING HIS INJURY.

A FINAL 6 FT ROUND WAS BEING DRILLED IN THIS STOPE AND THE HANGING WALL WAS BEING ROCK BOLTED. BARRING DOWN HAD BEEN COMPLETED. THREE MEN, HAD BEEN ASSIGNED TO AND WERE WORKING THIS STOPE. VISIBLE GOLD HAD BEEN OBSERVED AND INJURED HAD SUMM

THE EIMCO 912 LOADER WAS BEING TURNED FOR FUELING BY THE LOADER MECHANIC WHO RESTED ON TOP OF THE SEAT ENCLOSURE WITH HIS LITTLE FINGER DRAPED IN THE PINCH POINT OF THE ARTICULATING STEERING O F THE LOADER IN A HARD LEFT TURN.THE LEFT LITTLE FINGER OF THE MECHANIC WAS PINCHED REQUIRING STTICHES BY A DOCTOR.
