EMP WAS ASKED TO REMOVE BATTERY FROM AIR CONPRESSOR. ON 11/9/83 12:00 PM EMP INFORMED ME THAT HE STRAINED HIS BACK WHEN REMOVING BATTERY, EMP WAS ADVISED TO CALL DR AND BE CHECKED. NO ONE ELS E WAS PRESENT AT TIME OF ACCIDENT. EMP APPARENTLY LIFTED BATTERY INCORRECTLY
