SECTION WAS ON THE RETREAT MINING METHOD.WHEN A SCOOP WAS LEFT IN THE #6 ENTRY.WHICH WAS USED TO HAUL SUPPLIES.MINING WAS PROGRESSIVELY IN THE #1 ENTRY.WHEN THE OPERATOR RETURNED TO THE SCOOP A LARGE PIECE OF ROCK HAD FALLEN FROM THE TOP ON IT.AFTER EVALUATING THE FALL A DETERMINATION WAS MADE TO LEAVE THE SCOOP TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF AN ACCIDENT.

BETWEEN WORKSHIFTS OF 9/17 & 18 ROCK FALL OCCURRED MEASURING APPROX 40'X16'X4' 3 BREAKS OUTBY FACE ON #1 ENTRY BETWEEN SPAD #349 & 360. THERE WERE NO EQUIP INVOLVED. AREA HAS BEEN BARRICADED & POSTED TO PREVENT ANYONE FROM ENTERING.
