SECTION WAS ON THE RETREAT MINING METHOD.WHEN A SCOOP WAS LEFT IN THE #6 ENTRY.WHICH WAS USED TO HAUL SUPPLIES.MINING WAS PROGRESSIVELY IN THE #1 ENTRY.WHEN THE OPERATOR RETURNED TO THE SCOOP A LARGE PIECE OF ROCK HAD FALLEN FROM THE TOP ON IT.AFTER EVALUATING THE FALL A DETERMINATION WAS MADE TO LEAVE THE SCOOP TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF AN ACCIDENT.
