MINER WAS DISMOUNTING LOADER WITH LUNCH BOX IN HAND. HE SLIPPED ON THE MIDDLE OF THREE STEPS CAUSING HIS FOOT TO STRIKE THE GROUND IN AN UNNATURAL POSITION INJURING HIS ANKLE. THE LADDER HAD B EEN BENT IN AND TO THE BACK SOME 3 OR 4 MONTHS PRIOR.
