THE SHOT FIRER WAS SHOOTING TWO PLACES. HE HAD SHOT THE FIRST ONE AND WAS GETTING READY TO SHOOT THE SECOND. THE COAL DRILL OPER. FAILED TO GET P OUT OF THE LINE OF FIRE CAUSING A SMALL LUMP O F COAL TO STRIKE HIM IN THE EYE.

INJURED WAS ENTERING MANTRIP-OPERATOR OF MANTRIP SAID IT ACCIDENTLY KICKED ON POINT AND PINNED HIM AGAINST THE TOP. CRUSHING HIS CHEST. THE INJURED HAD A BROKE RIGHT COLLAR BONE AND ONE RIGHT RIB. HE ALSO HAD AN ABRASION ON HIS LEFT ARM.
HE SAID HE HAD JUST FINISHED DRILLING 2 PLACES & SAT DOWN TO REST STARTED COUGHING, HIS RIBS BEGAN TO HURT AFTER HE STARTED CAUGHING.
