Employee was prying a rock loose with the prybar. The rock shifted and slammed his hand between the prybar and catwalk railing. The right hand was injured and in a splint.

Employee was carrying 5 gal. pail of oil up a ladder and over to platform on the screen. He experienced pain in right wrist. No lost time; saw physician - considered treatment to be first aid and nonrecordable. He has since seen another physician and may have surgery to repair a tear. Diagnosis was tendonitis: a wrist splint & cold packs were used.
