Fabricator using a small grinder to prep metal on a secondary hopper surface. Wearing safety glasses and welding hood. Lifted welding hood, felt something in left eye, washed eye out, did not report incident. That night felt burning sensation, went E.R., metal filing removed from left eye, antibiotic drop prescribed. Medical follow-up & discharged 8/10/15.
