Copenhaver Construction Inc · Struck against a moving object

Miner using a crane to unload a skid steer from a trailer. Wind gust occurred while the operator was rotating the boom causing the boom to rotate outside of the Front-loading area. The crane tipped over. The operator was taken to the hospital for evaluation and released without treatment. EE had only minor muscle strains. The 15-ton mobile crane was not significantly damaged.

A Miner had contact with a low voltage control wire and received a shock. EE was taken to a local medical facility for evaluation and released. EE will be off work for 1 week pending a follow up appointment.
