October 25, 2023 MN · Metal/Non-Metal crusher attendant/operator, pan feeder operator/worker MACHINERY
Consolidated Ready Mix · Caught in, under or between running or meshing objects

The operator tried to dislodge clay buildup from a return roller on the top return belt on the crusher. The crusher was running at this time. The operator tried to lay a 12" pry bar against the roller to knock the clay off. The operator inserted the pry bar too far which caused the belt to grab the bar and pull the operator's left hand and wrist in between the belt and roller.
