The employee was assisting in connecting a bypass chute to a tub on a crushing cone. The chute became hung up on a catwalk and suddenly released, striking the employee's leg. The employee received a laceration on the upper left leg.

ON 10-23-02 HE PULLED CABLE - FELT PULL IN BACK. NOT REPORTED. ON OR ABOUT 11-7 WAS POUNDING ON SCREEN ON GRIZZLY, FELT BACK PAIN, WENT TO CLINIC. RESTRICTION NOT TO LIFT MORE THAN 10#. 10-12- 02 SAID FELT OK. 11-15 SENT HOME BY SUPERVISOR - APPEARS BACK IS CAUSING DISCOMFORT.
