Konen Rock Crushing Inc · Over-exertion in lifting objects

Driller departed from his safe lifting technique training and simultaneously lifted & twisted. This twisting motion resulted in the "tweak" of his back that was ultimately medically diagnosed as a back strain & muscle spasm.

THE MAN WAS CLIMBING DOWN OFF OF SHAKER SCREEN HAD FOOT ON DRIVE BELT GUARD, WHICH SLIPPED IN DRY CONDITIONS, AND BANGED LEG AGAINST HANDRAIL. THE PLANT WAS SHUTDOWN, GENERATOR POWER WAS OFF. NO EQUIPMENT WAS RUNNING. PLACED ANT-SKIN MATERIAL IN AREA.
