The miner was cutting a zip tie wrap using a razor blade knife. While cutting, the blade slipped from the zip tie and cut the miners thumb. The cut required 4 sutures.

EMPLOYEE WAS LOOSENING THE MOTOR MOUNT BOLT AND SAT BACK FOR A MOMENT PLACING HIS HAND (R) ON A METAL CONVEYOR GUIDE BELOW THE MOTOR. ANOTHER EMPLOYEE LOOSENED THE GEAR BOX STABILIZER CAUSING THE MOTOR TO ROTATE AND STRIKE EMPLOYEE'S HAND.
