Employee was adjusting belt scraper when scraper caught on new belt splice causing the crescent wrench to flip back striking employee in the left leg. Diagnosis, broken femur approximately 6" above left knee.

Employee walked up a 3/4" clean gravel pile to repair a grease line on the head pulley of the stacker. When he finished he ran down the pile and fell to the ground.
