WHILE PICKING ROCK THE EMPLOYEE STARTED TO HAVE A PETTYMALL SEIZURE. SHE TOLD HER PARTNER TO WATCH HER BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT FEELING WELL. ABOUT 5MINUTES LATER SHE WENT OUTSIDE. SHE WAS TRANSPOR TED TO THE HOSPITAL. SHE HAD AN ADDITIONAL SEIZURE ON THE WAY.

INJURED WAS ACLEANING SPILLAGE FROM THE GROUND AREA UNDER NO. 1 CONVEYOR BELT ABOUT 15' FROM THEHEAD PULLEY [VERTICAL DISTANCE ABOUT 8' ABOVE GROUND] WHEN A ROCK ABOUT 4-5" IN DIAMETER FELL FR OM THE CONVEYOR & STRUCK HIM ON THE LEFT SHOULDER. THE LEFT SHOULDER WAS BRUISED.

WHILE LOADING A 4' LONG 8" X 8" TIMBER INTO A LOADER BUCKET, THE TIMBER SLIPPED FROM THE MINER'S HAND & PINCHED HIS THUMB BETWEEN THE TIMBER & THE BUCKET. HIS THUMB WAS CUT AS A RESULT.
