WELDER CARBURATOR LINKAGE CAME OFF CAUSING ENGINE TO GAIN RPMS. EMPLOYEE WENT TO FIX PROBLEM. EMPLOYEE RAISED SIDE COVER DOOR AND REACHED IN TO PUT LINKAGE BACK TOGETHER FAILING TO TURN MOTOR OFF. EMPLOYEE'S HAND WAS THEN STRUCK BY FAN BLADE ON MOTOR LOCATED NEXT TO LINKAGE. 2 FINGERS ON LEFT HAND WERE CUT, BLEEDING AND APPEARING TO BE BROKEN. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF IMPAIRMENT.
