EE was lifting pieces of stone onto a pallet when he sustained a sharp apin in his lower back. Dr diagnosis, acute back strain, EE will off work until authorized to RTW by Dr.

American Sandstone · Struck by falling object

EE was using a 36" pry bar to lift a slab of sandstone when the bar slipped out from under the stone causing the stone to fall on his right hand resulting in a contusion to his right ring finger. EE will be performing lite duty work until next DR appt on 7/17/06.

American Sandstone · Struck by flying object

EE was splitting a block of sandstone using a hammer and stone chisel when a metal fragment fractured off the chisel head and embedded in his right thigh . Physician removed metal fragment and gave tetanus injection. EE was released to full duty same day.

American Sandstone · Struck against a moving object

EE was attempting to move a large block of sandstone (6-7 ton) in the bucket of a front end wheel loader, when the block slid off the bucket causing the loader to be jarred abruptly, resulting in a back strain to EE.
