Semco Stone · Struck by falling object

The quarry operator was using a hammer drill to drill holes in stone in preparation for using DEXPAN non-explosive expansion agent. The drill bit broke and the drill fell on the operators foot causing a contusion to the left foot.

EE WAS HAND STACKING ROCK. WHEN THROWING A ROCK, HE TOSSED IT AWKWARDLY AND IT CAME ACROSS HIS FOREARM CUTTING IT. THIS LEFT A CUT ABOUT 2" LONG JUST ABOVE THE CUFF OF HIS GLOVE.
