HE WAS WORKING WITH OTHER EMPLOYEES IN PREPARATION FOR A "BELT MOVE". HE WAS HELPING ROLL OUT THE BELTLINE. WHILE DOING SO HE MUST HAVE TWISTED WRONG, STRAINING A MUSCLE IN HIS LOWER BACK.

HE WAS WORKING THE TAILPIECE OF THE #2 BELTLINE (PICKING ROCK FROM DUMP). A PIECE OF SLATE KICKED UP FROM THE BELT AS IT WAS BEING DISCHARGED FROM TAILPIECE, STRIKING HIM ON THE RIGHT LEG WHIC H WAS AGAINST THE CHUTE OF THE TAILPIECE. HE DID NOT REPORT THIS UNTIL 10-11-95 AT WHICH TIME IT WAS X-RAYED.
