INJURED EMPLOYEE WAS TRYING TO GET STEEL OUT OF THE GROUND, WHEN A ROCK FELL FROM ABOVE ONTO HIS RIGHT FOOT. NO SKIN WAS BROKEN, NO BLOOD SHED, NO BROKEN BONES AS OF 5/24/93. EMPLOYEE WAS IN S EVERE PAIN AND FOOT BADLY BRUISED. WILL BE CHECKED AGAIN FOR BROKEN BONES IN 1 WEEK.
INJURED EMPLOYEE WAS HOLDING A BOLT WITH HIS HAND AGAINST THE PIN TO BE REMOVED. WHEN THE PIN WAS KNOCKED OUT WITH A HAMMER, THE BOLT WENT INTO A HOLE AND SHIFTED, PINCHING THE LEFT THUMB BETW EEN CONVEYOR FRAME AND BOLT. NO SKIN WAS BROKEN, NO BLOOD SHED, NO BROKEN BONES.
