ON 10/20/03 SAFETY & HEALTH DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED EE HAD BEEN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL ON 10/19/03. HE THOUGHT HE WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK. ER PHYSICIAN DETERMINED IT WAS A BROKEN RIB. EE STATED T HE ONLY THING HE COULD REMEMBER THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THE BROKEN RIB WAS FALLING AGAINST THE AIR CONDITIONER WHEN HIS CHAIR BROKE. AT THE TIME HE FELT OK. HE WORKED 7 DAYS & HAD NO PROBLEMS.

EE WAS BENDING OVER TO ADJUST CONVEYOR TAILPULLEY WITH A SCREW TYPE ADJUSTMENT. HE WAS USING A 3/4" RATCHET WHILE BENDING OVER AND PULLING WITH BOTH HANDS.
