Miner was pounding in a track pin with a sledge hammer when a splinter broke off from the pin and embedded in miners left leg, above the knee on the inside of the thigh.

Miner was assisting mechanic in the changing out of an excavator bucket. Miner tried to catch bucket pin as it was hammered out, the pin slipped in miner's hands and caught middle finger of left hand under pin. Miner was not wearing required PPE of work gloves and should not have been attempting to catch the pin.

While removing scrap wood from a small pile of rocks a rock fell and pinched the Rt. little finger causing the fingernail to be pulled off
