WHILE CLIMBING 8OWN GRADER BY HOLDING ONTO HANDLES AND DESCENDING DOWN THE STEPS, EMPLOYEE S RING CAUGHT ONTO A LATCH AND PULLED HIS RIGHT RING FINGER OFF. THE WEIGHT OF HIS BODY AFTER THE RIN G BECAME CAUGHT3ON THE LATCH CAUSED THE RINGER TO STRETCH UNTIL IT WAS SEVERED.
