EMPLOYEE WAS USING A HAMMER TO BREAK STONE BLOCKHAMMER HIT THE STEEL WEDGE AND A PIECE OF STEEL BROKE OFF AND HIT EMPLOYEE ON THE TOP OUTSIDE EDGE OF HIS RIGHT EAR. EMPLOYEE WAS TAKEN TO ER. HE WAS GIVEN A TETANUS SHOT AND NINE STITCHES. INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND WATCH FOR INFECTION.
