INJURED WAS ASSIGNED WORK REBUILDING A 100 TON HAULAGE TRUCK BOX INSIDE THE SHOP, HE CLAIMS HE WAS PULLING A WOODEN BOARD INSIDE THE BOX WHEN HE S LIPPED & TWISTED HIS RIGHT KNEE & ALSO HIS BACK. INJURED WORKED THE BALANCE OF HIS SHIFT SEEN A DOCTOR 8-15-83 & STARTED HIS DISABILITY.
INJURED WAS WORKING INSIDE THE WELDING SHOP AT THE WHITNEY MINE HE WAS USING A SLEDGE HAMMER WHILE HAMMERING AND HEATING A MAGANISE STEEL STRAP AND FELT SORENESS IN HIS LOWER BACK & RIGHT SHOU SHOULDER.
