The employee reported that while climbing down from an excavator, they experienced back pain upon reaching the ground. At the time of the incident, the employee declined medical treatment. An employee was relocating an excavator and chose to track it down an approximately 8-foot-high wall with a 10-degree slope. Due to recent rainfall, the soft ground caused the excavator to slide and tip onto its side at the bottom. The employee self-extricated and reported the incident.
