A Cat D9L bulldozer ee had been operating ran over ee. The bulldozer ran over the edge of the refuse bank and came to rest at the bottom of the embankment. The victim was pronounce dead at the scene. The reason why the victim was outside the bulldozer when the accident occurred is under investigation.

Reading Anthracite Company · Struck against a moving object

The Euclid R-Haul truck Comp. No. 671 was hauling a load of stemming material to the drill bench in the Wadesville Pit. The truck went over an embankment, upset, coming to rest on the driver's side causing fatal blunt force trauma to the driver located inside the cab. The cause of this accident is yet to be determined pending further investigation.
