A TRIP OF 18 EMPTY MINE CARS WAS BEING PULLED BY A 27-TON LOCOMOTIVE DOWN A 3 PERCENT GRADE IN THE MINE WHEN THE LOCOMOTIVE DERAILED NEAR THE NORTH MAIN SIDETRACK. DURING THE DERAILMENT, THE L OCOMOTIVE OPERATOR IN ADDITION, THE BREAKMAN WAS INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT.
