AN EXPLOSION OCCURED IN AN ABANDON PANEL WHERE TWO WORKERS WERE TRANSPORTING BLOCK IN AN S&S SCOOP. THE TWO WERE KILLED AS THE RESULT OF THE EXPLOSION. THE TWO WERE BURNED AND IN AN ATOSPHERE OF CO CARBON MONOXIDE. THEY WERE FOUND APPROX. 12-13 X CUTS INTO THE PANEL. ONE FOUND IN SCOOP BUCKET AND THE OTHER APPROX 10 FEET FROM SCOOP. THE PRESSURE FROM THE EXPLOSIVE HAD BLOWN OUT
