Employee was using a pnuematic sanding tool to grind with. He was using a grinding disk. The sanding tool was rated at a speed of 22,000 rpm, the disk was rated at 13,000 rpm. The disk blew apart and a piece of the disk cut his abdomen requiring 3 sutures.

EE WAS SITTING ON TAILGATE OF COMPANY TRUCK AT CUSTOMER-RECOMMENDED DISTANCE DURING BLASTING. DEBRIS FROM BLAST CAME IN HIS DIRECTION, CAUSING HIM TO GET OFF TAILGATE AND SEEK COVER.
SETTING A STAIR LANDING (SUPPORTED BY A CRANE) ONTO A PLATFORM, WHILE WORKING IN A MAN BASKET. THE LOAD SHIFTED AND CAUGHT HIS RIGHT MIDDLE FINGER BETWEEN THE STAIR LANDING AND THE PLATFORM. CONTUSION/AVULSION RIGHT 3RD FINGER.
Employee was exiting a D-8 Dozer. Stepped down onto track. Foot slipped and he fell against a handrail.

WHILE HE WAS PUTTING TOOLS IN GANGBOX, THE WIND CAUGHT THE LID AND IT HIT HIS HEAD. SOUGHT CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT - STRAIN/SPRAIN OF THE CERVICAL STRUCTURES.
