Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

Employee was loading stone into cutter with another emploee and got his right middle finger wedged. The employee noticed a laceration from where it was wedged. He then stopped working and came to the office, told his supervisor and was sent to Concentra.

Miner was on outlet table side of stone cutter when cut was initiated; outlet table moves in downward position. Miner placed hand prematurely to remove stone and when table was retracted middlefinger was pinched between top of stone and chisels.

Operating an air tool breaking stones, employee felt an object hit his eye. He was wearing safety glasses. Employee did not report to supervisor until Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006.
