THE DREDGE OPERATOR WAS TIGHTENING SHAFT PACKING WITH PUMP RUNNING AND LOOSE CLOTHING GOT CAUGHT IN SHAFT BETWEEN BEARINGS. THE POWER OF THE SHAFT WOUND HIS CLOTHES OFF. HE WAS BURNED ON HIS LEGS TRYING TO FREE HIMSELF, WHICH HE DID. INJURIES WERE NOT SERIOUS ENOUGHT FOR DOCTOR ATTENTION.
