On 03/28/2023 at approximately 1600 hours, an employee of Edge Aggregates was involved in a minor accident. EE was washing out the feeder hopper and opened up the overhead door. While attempting to lock the door, the overhead door fell and struck EE in the upper back. This caused EE to fall forward and strike their face on the frame of the plant.

IE and another EE were beating a dry ice cooled master pin into a connecting link on the track of a D-6 MXL Caterpillar Dozer with an 8 pound maul. IE was holding the link in place with pliers. The maul hit the pin and bounced past the pliers and struck IE's leather gloved hand with a glancing blow. This resulted in a bruise to the left hand.

Pulled Muscle in back according to Dr. EE squatted down put both hands underneath the cylinder and began lifting up the cylinder off the ground with the bottle. He reached for the tailgate of the truck and eased his behind on the ground
