Oster Sand & Gravel · Fall from ladders

The Feeder at the primary plant was jammed. When looking for the cause of the jam, the primary plant operator fell off of the step ladder EE was on. EE's hard hat fell off and EE's head hit the concrete. EE lost consciousness for roughly 90 seconds. Ambulance was called. EE's injuries were a subdural hematoma and an open fracture of right side of occipital bone.

He was cutting with a torch and a spark went into his left ear. He went to the dr and returned to work in the same day. nothing was done from then until 11-29-05 when a 15 minutes operation was performed to correct his burn on the ear drum.
