MINE FOREMAN WAS WELDING. INJURED EMPLOYEE WAS WATCHING. INJURED HAD ON A FULL FACE WELDING HELMET. DURING THE NIGHT HE NOTED SORENESS IN HIS EYES AND WENT TO EMERGENCY ROOM FOR TREATMENT AT 8 AM ON FRIDAY 9-29-00. HE WAS TREATED WITH SALVEAND PADS PUT ON EYES FOR THE REMAINDER OF FRIDAY.
